Gotcha!!!

Do you remember this old post?
Well I actually managed to save some time later and got a couple of things crossed off that wishlist,
naturally they are not items of this brand new season they used to be "it items" but guess what? to me
they still are, they became classics and I honeslty love to wear them to dead.
I indeed have many other wishlists, and I have as well crossed so many items out of them, but this
couple where super special to me and tought I should share, cuz well let´s face it you are happy
when you get what you want and may the world hear about it!!so you spread the word....
Do you have any desired, lusted over items that have come to your hands and materialized in your closet??
There is no better feelining I presume, tho is allways good to re-use and recycle...

P.S. Don´t forget to follow me on Instagram @beatrixrv.

Fur you, fur me.

This is just a tiny sneak peek of the rest of the shoot with Julio,
I must confess I am a sucker for faux fur, I often wish it was way colder here and I could use
fur more than twice a year, but anywho, If Rachel Zoe wears fur all year long in LA, why can´t I?
Fur has the inevitable touch of elegance and chicness that trascends, a timeless piece that nowadays is matched with jeans, leather, skirts or whatever and I am more than glad to be able to use it for casual or blacktie ocassions, I could sleep in fur, I would definetly do...

I know I come and go and Im not the kind of blogger that lives for their blog, but I want to take the chance and wish you readers( by chance or heart), an amazing 2013, this year has a certain vibeof amazing upcoming things for everybody, I hope success reaches you and fills your world!
Happy days begin with similes, just keep that in mind!!

PS, there´s a backstage video I´m still trying to figure out how to upload, stay tuned!
Love you all!!

In the middle of the Twi-light

Hello once again after months...
This is a sneek peak of what Julio has been preparing and I am so eager to help.
He has amazing projects coming up and believe me this talented kid is gonna get somewhere.
We had an amazing time shooting downtown, a very decadent an ispirational area of where we live.
This is just a little mix of sequins and burgundy lips but I really wanted to add the touch of this awsome earrings that are dying a little bit due to carrying them in my bags over my journeys in the world.. still one of my fave pair... so I guess I tried to embrace a more wearable version of the nowadays very popular baroque  trend, and totally got inspired by D&G and naturally Balmain...
More pics to come soon and.... a video, yes Julio is amazing at what he does, stay tuned and happy Holidays!!!

Like love in the afternoon...

Picture yourself in a dreamy day where all you have to do is rest, lay down and enjoy... I need one too many of those....
I haven´t posted in ages, for that I apologize... I am now back to reality and what a nice way to be welcomed...One of my super talented friends Julio, told me he thinks I have an eye for photography...so he offered himself to coach me, and this is the result of an incredibly funny day of cooperation, direction and lots of learning.I was a litlle shy at the beginning but later on i felt so comfy and I literally made a little of every
thing, art design, fashion styling... notoriusly hair and make-up, AND photography!!!
It is my very first time I make an entire shoot by myself with Julio´s help naturally guiding me a little on how to tips and suggestions...Im very proud because this could definetly be the beginning of the development of one of my dearest passions.

Enjoy!
Qué lo disfruten!!

Paris when it sizzles

These are the pictures of my amazing trip to Paris, which was part of my prize from the Vogue contest; my awsome boyfriend came all the way from México to enjoy the most romantic and chic days ever.
I must confess I have a thing for fashionable cities (not to mention my absurde obession with NY), but Paris as the capital of fashion, offers the most precious variety of chic people walking down the street, real fashion seen on real people. Not to be a total weirdo, but I could spend hours siting on a cafe and watch people (mostly their outfits) go by... Oh and naturally I visited the infamous "31,Rue de Cambon" where Mme Chanel began her dream.
So just to mention something about my outfits, I love wearing skirts, and lately I´ve been trying to look as lady-like as possible; I got this flashy neon lace skirt from Asos, and I tought Paris would be the perfect place to walk around "strange look-free" (yes it always happens in my current small town), but walking down Versailles was quite a funny adventure, just to see people´s faces while they got flashed by my lovely friend.... I must confess I loved it, not that I crave attention, but I love being myself and wearing what I want inspite of funny faces....
And last but not least ,not to brag but last skirt I made by myself, and well I love love love it ;)
Geting back to what matters: I want to thank Vogue México, A tout France and and the chic Hotel Napoleon for making this trip possible.
I enjoyed it soo much, with someone I love deeply.
And plus Paris is one of my fave cities in the world, sooo romantic, I´m  just going tolet pics speak for themselves... C´etait la vie en Rose (a moins pour une semaine).
